For the purposes of employment of Ex-servicemen to civil posts under the Punjab Government, some Educational Certificates/Trades in the Army have been equated to the Civil Certificates/Trades, the details are given in the Directory of Equation of Service Trades with Civil Trades and Guide to Registration of Defence Services Applicants for Employment (This Directory is available with all District Sainik Welfare Officers in the State of Punjab)

For the purposes of employment of ex-servicemen to civil posts under the Government of India, some educational certificates awarded in the Services have been recognized as equivalent to certain civil examination certificates which are as under:-
