Financial Assistance towards Marriage of Daughter (Rs
16000/-)
Eligibility Conditions:-
All Ex-servicemen/Widows/dependents who are neither in receipt of any pensionary benefits nor re- employed.
All widows of Defence personnel/War Widows/dependents (only JCOs/Ors/equivalents) who have not been provided any financial assistance by State Govt or any other source for the purpose.
Ex-Servicemen who are in receipt of pension but have no other source of income may be considered under the following circumstances:-
If he has any more daughters to marry and has no
son/ daughter to support him.
His children are young and not able to support
him.
Any of his family member is suffering from incurable disease.
Documents Required:-
Application from the individual. (Specimen att as Annx I)
Copy of the ESM/Widow/Dependent Identity Card.
An Attested Photocopy of the Ration Card.
Detailed Financial Condition report. (Specimen att as Annx II ).
An attested copy of the Discharge Certificate.
Certificate from the Zila Sainik Board that the applicant
has not been provided any financial assistance from the state
Govt or any other source.
Certificate confirming the solemnization of marriage issued by the competent authority.
Invitation Cards/actual date of marriage.
Details regarding means/source from where the marriage expenditure has been incurred and also the amount still outstanding.
Birth Certificate/Proof of age of the daughter for whose
marriage the FA is sought.
