PUNJAB SAINIK BHAWAN  

Every day defence personnel, serving and retired and/or their families visit Chandigarh as it is the capital of Punjab State and very near to Chandimandir Cantonment and the Command Hospital. With a view to meet their needs, the Punjab Government constructed the Punjab Sainik Rest House in Sector 21-D, Chandigarh at a cost of Rs.90 lakh. The construction work was entrusted to Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation, Chandigarh.

Rental charges of Punjab Sainik Rest House are as under:-

(a)Deluxe Double with att. bathroom Rs 150/- per day Rs. 125/- per day Rs.75/- per day Rs.275/- per day
(b)Deluxe Dormitory with att. bathroom (6 Single Beds) Rs 250/- per day Rs. 200/- per day Rs.175/- per day Rs.400/- per day
(b)Deluxe Dormitory for single bed to JCOs and other ranks only -------- Rs. 70/- per day Rs.50/- per day --------
