REIMBURSEMENT OF TUTION FEE TO CHILDREN STUDYING IN 2 PUBLIC SCHOOLS |
Tuition fee in respect of children of ESM (NCOs/OR) studying in Gen Gurnam Singh Public School, Sangrur, Guru Teg Bahadur National Public School, Dhaka (Ludhiana ) is reimbursed as per decisions of State Managing Committee held on 27 Feb 1979, 05 Jan 1989 and 20 Jul 1999 respectively. Details are as under: -

| During the discussion it emerged that to promote interest in studies amongst the wards of ESM / their widows, reputed public schools of Punjab should be included in the scholarship scheme as under :- | ||

The criteria for awarding the scholarship for these schools will be as under:- |

(a) |
Wards of ESM whose annual income from all sources is below Rs 2 Lac per annum. | |
(b) |
The wards of ESM should have secured above 75% marks in the previous class | |
(c) |
The amount of scholarship will be equal to 25 % of the monthly fees of the student. Current monthly fee of PPS Nabha & YPS Patiala is approximately Rs. 10000/- per month each. | |
(d) |
The ward should not be in receipt of any other scholarship from any other sources. | |
